(Whom is the cup down fallen?)

Whom did the cup fall down?

 

Die Tasse ist mir hingefallen.

(The cup is me down fallen.)

The cup fell (me) down.

 

Die Tasse ist ihm hingefallen.

(The cup is him down fallen.)

The cup fell (him) down.

 

Die Tasse ist ihr hingefallen.

(The cup is her down fallen.)

The cup fell (her) down.
