(You are allowed the appointment not to oversleep.)

You’re not allowed to oversleep the appointment.

 

Du darfst deinen Termin nicht verschlafen.

(You are allowed your appointment not to oversleep.)

You’re not allowed to oversleep your appointment.

 

Du darfst ihn nicht verschlafen.

(You are allowed him not to oversleep.)

You’re not allowed to oversleep it.

 

Hast du ihn verschlafen?

(Have you him overslept?)

Did you oversleep it?

 

Leider habe ich den Termin gestern verschlafen.

(Unfortunately have I the appointment yesterday overslept.)

Unfortunately I overslept the appointment yesterday.
