Die Preise steigen bald.

(The prices increase soon.)

Prices will increase soon.

 

Die Preise steigen bald um zehn Prozent.

(The prices increase soon by ten percent.)

Prices will increase soon by ten percent.

 

Die Preise für Flüge nach Kanada steigen bald um fünfzehn Prozent.

(The prices for flights to Canada increase soon by fifteen percent.)

Prices for flights to Canada will increase soon by fifteen percent.

 

Die Preise sind gestiegen.

(The Prices have increased.)

Prices increased.

 

Um wie viel sind die Preise gestiegen?

(By how many have the prices increased?)

By how much did prices increase?

 

Die Preise sind um zwanzig Prozent gestiegen.

(The prices have by twenty percent increased.)

Prices increased by 20%.
