Der Lehrer unterrichtet Deutsch.

(The teacher teaches German.)

The teacher teaches German.

 

Die Lehrerin von meinem Sohn unterrichtet Deutsch.

(The female teacher of my son teaches German.)

My son’s teacher teaches German.

 

Der Lehrer von meiner Tochter unterrichtet Mathematik.

(The teacher of my daughter teaches math.)

My daughter’s teacher teaches math.

 

Er hat früher in der Schule unterrichtet.

(He has in the past in the school taught.)

He taught at school in the past.

 

Wo hat er unterrichtet?

(Where has he taught?.)

Where did he teach?

 

Er hat in der Nähe von Luzern unterrichtet.

(He has in the near of Luzern taught.)

He taught close to Luzern.
