Hörst du mir zu, wenn ich mit dir rede?

(Listen you to me, when I with you talk?)

Are you listening to me when I talk to you?

 

Ich höre dir sehr aufmerksam zu.

(I listen to you very attentive.)

I’m listening to you very closely.

 

Hast du mir gestern zugehört?

(Have you to me yesterday listened?)

Did you listen to me yesterday.

 

Hast du mir gestern beim Abendessen zugehört?

(Have you to me yesterday during the dinner listened?)

Did you listen to me yesterday during the dinner.
