Ich verpasse den Film.

(I miss the movie.)

I miss the movie.

 

Ich will den Film nicht verpassen.

(I want the movie not to miss.)

I don’t want to miss the movie.

 

Ich habe den Bus verpasst.

(I have the bus missed.)

I missed the bus.

 

Ich habe die Besprechung verpasst.

(I have the meeting missed.)

I missed the meeting.

 

Ich habe die Besprechung verpasst, weil ich krank war.

(I have the meeting missed, because I sick was.)

I missed the meeting because I was sick.

 

Wenn du weitersprichst, verpassen wir die Besprechung

(If you continue speaking, miss we the meeting.)

If you continue speaking we’ll miss the meeting.
