Ich vermeide die Autobahn.
(I avoid the highway.)
I avoid the highway.
Ich vermeide die Landstraße.
(I avoid the country road.)
I avoid the country road.
Ich vermeide es, auf der Autobahn zu fahren.
(I avoid it, on the highway to drive.)
I avoid driving on the highway.
Ich vermeide es, auf der Landstraße zu fahren.
(I avoid it, on the country road to drive.)
I avoid driving on the country road.
Ich fahre auf der Landstraße, um den Stau zu vermeiden.
(I drive on the country road, in order the traffic jam to avoid.)
I drive on the country road in order to avoid the traffic jam.
Ich habe gestern den Stau auf der Autobahn vermieden.
(I have yesterday the traffic jam on the highway avoided.)
I avoided the traffic jam yesterday on the highway.
