(I bake today a chocolate cake.)

I’m baking a chocolate cake today.

 

Hast du schonmal einen Kuchen gebacken?

(Have you ever a cake baked?)

Have you ever baked a cake?

 

Ich habe vor drei Jahren einen Kuchen gebacken.

(I have before three years a cake baked.)

I baked a cake three years ago.

 

Ich habe vor zwei Jahren einen Kuchen zu meinem Geburtstag gebacken.

(I have before two years a cake to my birthday baked.)

I baked a cake two years ago for my birthday.

 

Ich habe ihn zu meinem Geburtstag gebacken.

(I have him to my birthday baked?)

I baked it for my birthday.
