Step 1: Comprehension | Step 2: Key Learning | Step 3: Vocabulary | Step 4: Speaking
Welcome to Step 3 of the 4-Step Story System.
In this step, we build vocabulary directly from the story.
You already understand the chapter.
You’ve seen one key pattern.
Now we make the words stick.
To make this simple and efficient, we’ll use a tool called Readlang.
Readlang allows you to read the story, click on unknown words, and automatically turn them into flashcards.
How Readlang Works
- Click on any word you don’t know.
- The translation appears instantly.
- The word is automatically saved as a flashcard.
Later, you can review your saved words in short sessions.
Click here to learn how it works and to create an account for free.
How to Review Vocabulary Flashcards Effectively
Keep it simple.
You don’t need long study sessions.
5–10 minutes is enough.
Good moments to review:
• Before going to bed
• During your commute
• While waiting somewhere
• Before opening social media
Short, frequent review works better than long sessions.
Consistency beats intensity.
A Small Recommendation
Don’t try to save every word.
Focus on:
• Words that appear repeatedly
• Words that feel useful for real conversations
Trust repetition.
If a word appears often in the story, your brain will remember it naturally.
Flashcards are support — not the main learning engine.
The story remains the foundation.
