(He has in the past in the school taught.)
He taught at school in the past.
Wo hat er unterrichtet?
(Where has he taught?.)
Where did he teach?
Er hat in der Nähe von Luzern unterrichtet.
(He has in the near of Luzern taught.)
He taught close to Luzern.
